Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse distribution and be proficient in operating various types of forklift equipment such as Counter Balance, Raymond Reach, Order Picker and Walkie all together. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient movement of materials within our facility, contributing to our overall operational success.

Responsibilities

- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
- Perform order picking tasks using RF scanners to ensure accurate inventory management.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring that all materials are handled according to OSHA regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to maintain safety standards and report any mechanical issues.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
- Engage in materials handling activities, including stacking, storing, and organizing products within the warehouse.
- Participate in training sessions for new equipment or procedures as required.




- Maintain a clean and organized work setting to promote safety and efficiency.

Experience

- Proven experience in warehouse operations, including order picking and shipping & receiving.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is preferred.
- Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or in heavy equipment operation is a plus.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems related to forklift operation is beneficial.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required by the job duties.

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 44.0 per week
