RSS Inc. is hiring for Interline Payable / Accounts Payable role for their leading client in Mississauga, ON.

This is a temporary contract role for up to 18 months, to cover an employee going on Maternity leave.

Summary

The ideal candidate will require excellent communication skills and possess a friendly and helpful disposition. This person will also have strong organizational skills, multi-tasking abilities and must possess the ability to evaluate and prioritize incoming and outgoing information as required. Being self-directed and motivated as well as having previous accounting experience are definite assets to be successful in this position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Interline payable costing, interline payable matching
- EDI approval manual auditing of invoices
- Daily A/P functions including matching and coding vendor invoices
- Process invoices and verify discrepancies with customer PO-s or packing slips – following up with receiving department
- Follow up with vendors and other JW departments when invoices cannot be matched
- Partake in the weekly department meeting
- Assist with problem solving in the A/P area
- Other related duties as required

Qualifications:

- The successful candidate must possess a sense of urgency and accountability and have excellent time management skills
- The successful candidate for this position should understand accounts payable principles and procedures and possess solid analytical and problem-solving skills




- One to two years of accounts payables or general accounting experience is preferred
- Similar experience within logistics or transportation would be an asset

- 08.00 am - 04.30 pm
