About us
Roof Smart is the highest-volume roof replacement company in Edmonton. Our service department handles repairs, warranty work and deficiencies on residential roofs. It also installs Celebright permanent exterior LED lighting.
The role
You’ll work on your own, handling repair calls on residential sloped roofs, and report to our Service Foreman & Project Manager. We’ll also train you to install Celebright lighting. Between roof repairs and lighting installs, there’s a steady 40 hours a week.
The position runs until January 2027, with the possibility of continued work into the new year and a return to full time around April 2027.
What you’ll do
- Diagnose and repair leaks, damaged or missing shingles, flashing, vents and other sloped-roof issues
- Complete service and deficiency calls independently, from arrival to clean-up
- Photograph and document each job: the before, the after, and what was done
- Install Celebright permanent lighting after training
- Talk to homeowners on site in a clear, professional way
What you bring
- Hands-on residential sloped roofing experience,
with repair work preferred
- Able to work independently and safely at heights
- Your own reliable truck, ladders and tools
- Valid driver’s licence
- [Fall protection certification, or willingness to obtain it]
- CAD 26/hr, 40 hours a week
- Training on Celebright lighting installs
- Possible continued work into the recent year
- Possible return to full time in spring 2027
Pay: From $26.00 per hour
