Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workday financial Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and optimizing Workday solutions to meet organizational finance needs. This role requires a strong understanding of cloud-based enterprise systems, integration capabilities, and a broad technical skill set including cloud platforms, databases, operating systems, and scripting languages. The Workday financial Consultant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless solutions that enhance business processes and ensure system integrity. Finance module experience is a must

Responsibilities

- Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Workday finance modules aligned with client requirements.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Workday and other enterprise systems using REST APIs, XML, and web services.
- Collaborate with technical teams to implement cloud infrastructure components on AWS and Azure platforms.
- Manage system upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide expertise in database management including SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server for data analysis and reporting.
- Configure and support operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and VMware environments including ESXi and Kubernetes clusters.
- Implement network configurations involving DNS, VPNs, and computer networking principles to ensure secure connectivity.
- Write scripts using Bash (Unix shell), Shell Scripting, Python, JavaScript, or PL/SQL to automate tasks and improve system efficiency.




- Utilize DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins, and T-SQL for continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to meet high availability standards.
- Document technical specifications and provide training/support for end-users on Workday functionalities.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Workday Consultant or in a similar enterprise Finance system implementation role.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
- Hands-on experience with VMware (including ESXi), Kubernetes, Docker containers is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in databases including SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle; knowledge of NoSQL databases is a plus.
- Expertise in operating systems like Windows Server and Linux distributions.
- Familiarity with DNS configuration, VPN setup, network security protocols.
- Programming skills in JavaScript, Python, Bash scripting, Shell Scripting; experience with REST APIs is essential.
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Git version control systems and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of enterprise integration techniques including web services and middleware solutions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
