As a Vivarium and Maintenance Clerk for our Toxicology team located in Laval, you will perform certain activities related to animal housing and animal arrivals while following the established processes.

In this role, primary responsibilities include:

- Perform sanitization of animal rooms and procedure rooms;
- Prepare rooms for animal arrivals;
- Perform animal arrivals and restraints;
- Perform rounds to collect waste and soiled materials;
- Ensure the integrity of the studies and fulfill the regulatory agencies requirements by performing the activities according to the Valuable Laboratory Practices (GLP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) rules.

If you possess the following qualifications, we will train you in the rest:

- High School Diploma;
- Ability to manage time effectively;
- Ability to work autonomously and in teams;
- Being able to work physically (lift up to 20 kg, walk, stand, stoop, etc.);
- A good understanding of French is required.

Please note that upon being hired, you will have to undergo an annual tuberculosis test at the expense of the company.

- Location: 445 Boul. Armand-Frappier, Laval, QC, H7V 4B3;
- Transportation: Free parking. Near the Montmorency Subway. Electric vehicle charging station;
- Annual bonus based on performance;
- Schedule: Flexible schedule, you must be available days and evening. Depending on the needs, you may have to do overtime,



weekends and holidays;
- Permanent position as of the hiring, full-time 37.5hrs per week;
- Salary: $19.25/hr;
- Premiums: Evening ($2.50), Weekend ($2.75), Overtime (time and a half), Holidays (double time).
