$25–$30/hr + company vehicle. Lead a 2-person crew installing Christmas lights in Calgary, starting right away until December 20.

Winducks is hiring a lead installer for our Christmas lights season, Monday to Friday. You'll run your own truck and crew. Experience is preferred, but we'll train a natural leader who's safe, reliable and great with customers.

What you'll do

- Lead a helper on 3–6 homes a day, installing Christmas lights on rooflines, peaks, trees and shrubs
- Plan each install: where the lights go, how much to run, and how to get it done safely and on time
- Set the standard for safety. You'll run ladder setups and roof work in harnesses, and make the weather calls with the office.
- Be the face of Winducks at every home: greet the customer, walk the job, and make sure it's perfect before you leave
- Keep the day on track in our scheduling app, coach your helper as you go, and keep the vehicle and gear organised
- Some days in November also include window and gutter cleaning; after that it's all Christmas lights

What we're looking for

- Leadership: you've run a crew, trained new people or been the go-to person on a job site
- Comfortable on ladders and rooftops, and happy working outside in Alberta's cold
- Able to carry ladders and equipment up to 50 lb and work on your feet all day
- A valid Class 5 driver's licence and a clean driving record
- A positive, calm attitude, safety first, a team player
- Christmas lights, roofing, electrical or construction experience preferred. We train the right person.

This job is NOT for you if…

you don't want responsibility for a crew and a customer's home, you don't like heights or the cold, or you need an indoor 9-to-5.

What you get

- $25–$30/hr depending on experience, plus tips
- A company vehicle for work, so no wear on your own car (you pick up your helper on the way)
- Full-time hours, Monday–Friday, until December 20, plus paid light-takedown work in January
- Paid training on our systems, safety and service standards
- All equipment and fall-arrest gear supplied
- Good leads get first call for a lead role in the spring season
