Overview

We are seeking a licensed Chiropodist to provide skilled foot and lower-limb care in a patient-focused clinical setting. The role involves assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and coordinating care with other health professionals. Candidates with experience in hospital, acute care, medical office, or home care settings are encouraged to apply. Experience with pediatrics, pain management, research, or data collection is also valued.

Responsibilities

- Assess foot and lower-limb conditions, review patient histories, and document findings using accurate medical terminology.
- Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans, including preventive care, patient education, and appropriate follow-up.
- Provide patient care for a range of needs, which may include pediatric patients and people experiencing acute conditions or pain.
- Administer medications when appropriate and within the scope of practice and applicable regulations.
- Coordinate care with physicians and other members of the healthcare team, including for hospital, acute care, and home care patients.
- Maintain complete, timely clinical records and support continuity of care.




- Use electronic health record systems; experience with Epic or Cerner is an asset.
- Participate in quality improvement, research, or data collection activities as appropriate.
- Follow infection prevention, patient safety, privacy, and professional practice standards.

Qualifications

- Current chiropody license or registration in good standing, as required by the jurisdiction.
- Demonstrated clinical assessment and patient care skills.
- Robust communication, organization, and documentation abilities, including familiarity with medical terminology.
- Experience in a medical office is an asset; hospital, acute care, or home care experience is also valued.
- Pediatric care and pain management experience are considered assets.
- Familiarity with Epic or Cerner is preferred.
- Research or data collection experience is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively, exercise sound clinical judgment, and provide respectful, patient-centered care.

Pay: $400.00-$1,000.00 per day
