We are seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant for a full-time, permanent position in Vancouver, BC. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of litigation legal assistant experience, strong organizational skills, and excellent attention to detail. Experience with strata matters is an asset.

Responsibilities

- Schedule court dates and communicate with court registries.

- Coordinate court and tribunal filings, applications, and related documentation.

- Prepare and draft legal correspondence.

- Maintain organized files, bring-forward systems, and deadline tracking.

- Manage lawyers' calendars, emails, and daily practice requirements.

- Liaise with legal assistants, paralegals, lawyers, and clients regarding file progress.

- Perform general administrative duties and provide day-to-day legal support.

- Prioritize competing tasks and ensure deadlines are met.

Qualifications





- Graduate of an accredited Legal Assistant program or equivalent relevant experience.

- At least 1 year of experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant.

- Strata law experience is an asset.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, BC Online, and MYLTSA.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Robust organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to manage a high volume of work and competing priorities.

- Client-focused approach with a commitment to excellent service.

- Ability to follow instructions, meet strict deadlines, and exercise sound judgment.
