:Overnight Veterinary Technician / Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)/ Foreign Veterinarian

Location: 1115 Kingsway, Vancouver
Position: Full-time
Schedule: Overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays as required

Key Responsibilities

- Provide attentive, compassionate care to hospitalized and overnight patients.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs, clinical condition, and recovery.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the attending veterinarian.
- Assist with emergency procedures, diagnostics, and patient stabilization when required.
- Maintain accurate medical records and communicate important patient updates to the veterinary team.
- Perform nursing duties, including feeding, cleaning, patient handling, and maintaining a safe, comfortable environment.
- Recognize changes in patient condition and promptly escalate concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness, infection control, and proper handling of medical equipment.
- Ensure thorough patient handovers between shifts.

Qualifications and Skills

- Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)



qualification or eligibility for registration, if required for the position.
- Foreign Veterinarian
- Previous veterinary hospital experience preferred; emergency or critical care experience is an asset.
- Strong animal handling, patient monitoring, and nursing skills.
- Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in a busy clinical environment.
- Comfortable working independently overnight while collaborating with the veterinary team as needed.
- Reliable, compassionate, and committed to high standards of patient care.

Pay: $27.00-$38.00 per hour
