We are looking for a highly motivated, results-driven Dental Scheduling & Patient Care Coordinator who thrives on building relationships, having meaningful conversations and turning unscheduled treatment into booked appointments.

This is not a traditional dental reception position. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys the challenge of filling restorative and hygiene schedules, proactively reaching out to patients and helping them understand the importance of completing their recommended dental treatment.

The ideal candidate is confident, engaging, organized and self-motivated. You don't wait for the phone to ring or for patients to call back. You take initiative, follow through and find opportunities to keep the schedule productive while ensuring patients feel informed, supported and valued.

What You'll Be Doing

Schedule Optimization & Patient Engagement

- Proactively fill restorative and hygiene schedules, maximizing available appointment time.
- Follow up with patients who have outstanding or unscheduled treatment.
- Contact overdue hygiene and recall patients to help them return to regular care.
- Identify and fill openings resulting from cancellations and schedule changes and retain appointments where possible.
- Maintain an organized and effective patient follow-up system.
- Work closely with the clinical team to understand scheduling priorities, treatment needs and opportunities.

Treatment Conversations & Patient Relationships

- Have confident, engaging conversations with patients about their recommended dental treatment.
- Help patients understand the importance of completing treatment and maintaining their oral health.
- Identify barriers to care, including scheduling, financial concerns and treatment hesitations.
- Discuss available options and help patients take the next step toward booking their appointments.
- Build trust and rapport through genuine,



empathetic and professional communication.
- Recognize that successful scheduling is about more than filling appointments — it's about helping patients receive the care they need.

Accountability & Results

- Take ownership of restorative and hygiene schedule utilization.
- Consistently follow up on outstanding treatment opportunities and overdue appointments.
- Monitor scheduling gaps and take proactive steps to address them.
- Track follow-up activities, patient responses and booking outcomes.
- Work toward clear scheduling, reactivation and treatment-booking goals.
- Collaborate with the team to continually improve patient communication and scheduling effectiveness.

Dental experience is required. We are looking for someone who understands dental terminology, restorative treatment, hygiene scheduling and the importance of ongoing patient care.

Base salary + incentive program tied to profitability goals

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
