We represent a Residential/Commercial Construction Company. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Excavator Operator to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating excavators and related heavy equipment to perform excavation, grading, and site preparation tasks efficiently and safely. This role is vital to ensuring project timelines are met with precision and adherence to safety standards. Duties

- Operate excavators with precision to perform digging, trenching, lifting, and material handling tasks across diverse construction sites.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment, perform basic maintenance, and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Follow project plans and specifications to ensure accurate excavation depths and alignments.
- Coordinate with site supervisors and other crew members to execute tasks safely and efficiently.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment problems and ensure optimal performance.
- Support site safety protocols by maintaining a clean work area, adhering to safety guidelines, and using personal protective equipment consistently.




- Operate specialized tools such as horizontal drills or other attachments required for specific project tasks.
- Maintain detailed records of daily operations, equipment usage, and safety checks.

Experience

- Proven experience operating excavators in a construction environment, with a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation standards.
- Familiarity with residential and commercial construction environment.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Knowledge of construction processes such as site grading, trenching, foundation work, and paving techniques.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred for transportation of equipment between sites.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety procedures and best practices in heavy equipment operation.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
