Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Shift Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our retail environment. The ideal candidate will possess robust leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of store management. The Shift Supervisor will be responsible for supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining a positive shopping experience for all customers. Duties

- Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Lead and motivate team members to meet sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
- Manage staffing schedules, recruiting new team members, and conducting training & development sessions
- Oversee merchandising efforts, including pricing strategies and product placement
- Handle POS transactions, cash handling, and bookkeeping tasks accurately
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate purchasing activities to ensure stock availability
- Implement marketing initiatives to promote store products and services
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff




- Resolve customer complaints efficiently while maintaining professionalism
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures

Experience

- Proven supervising experience in retail management or related fields
- Solid leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and organizational skills
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse customer bases
- Experience with payroll processing, budgeting, and administrative tasks is advantageous
- Knowledge of merchandising, POS systems, pricing strategies, and sales management
- Demonstrated ability in recruiting, interviewing, training & development of staff
- Proficiency in marketing techniques and sales strategies to drive store performance
- Ability to handle cash handling responsibilities with accuracy and integrity
- Strong time management skills with the capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
