Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Line Cook to join our culinary team at a high volume, upscale, Italian restaurant ! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals while maintaining food safety standards.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items such as pastas, pizzas, grilled meats, seafood, antipasti, and desserts according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Set up and maintain line stations before and during service.
- Execute orders efficiently during peak hours while maintaining food quality, timing and presentation
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient meal service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace while adhering to health and safety standards including proper temperature control and cross contamination prevention.




- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning equipment, breaking down stations and prepping for the next shift.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed..

Skills

- 1-2 years of experience in high-volume Italian restaurant food preparation, cooking, and service is preferred but not essential.
- Food safety and handling.
- Strong knife skills and cooking techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work within a team setting.

Job Types: Full time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
