Rebellion Calibration and Torque is seeking a Shop Foreman to join our growing team. This role is responsible for managing daily shop operations, supporting and training technicians, and ensuring all equipment servicing and calibrations meet high standards for quality and safety. The Shop Foreman will also oversee ISO and Quality Management System (QMS) requirements while helping maintain excellent customer service, inventory control, and overall shop efficiency.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical knowledge, good leadership skills, and a hands-on approach to getting the job done. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, supports their team, values safety and quality, and can balance shop operations with customer service and day-to-day business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Operations: Diagnose, repair, service, and calibrate hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, battery-operated, and manual tools and equipment, including independent calibration sign-off.

Team Leadership: Supervise and assign work to technicians, provide training and coaching, coordinate staffing and on-call schedules, and ensure compliance with company procedures.

Technical Expertise: Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, battery-operated, and manual tools and equipment, including performing and signing off on calibrations.

Quality & ISO Compliance: Maintain the shop's QMS, oversee audits, develop safe work procedures, manage corrective actions, maintain calibration traceability, and drive continuous improvement.

Business & Inventory Management: Manage inventory, purchase orders, service tickets, rental paperwork, calibration certificates, and reports using Fieldcap and TorqID.





Customer Relations: Communicate repair status and calibration results, support equipment sales, coordinate customer follow-ups, and maintain professional relationships with vendors and customers.

Health, Safety & Environment: Lead daily safety meetings and hazard assessments, enforce PPE and safe work practices, report incidents, and stop work when unsafe conditions exist.

Shop Maintenance: Keep the shop clean and organized, ensure equipment is maintained, and work with Procurement to manage stock levels.

Working Conditions & Requirements

Regularly lift up to 50 lbs without mechanical assistance.

Work in shop environments and outdoors in adverse weather conditions.

Participate in scheduled evening, weekend, and holiday on-call rotations.

Maintain availability during scheduled shifts and respond to management calls within 30 minutes while on shift.
