Guidance Counselor - Leave Replacement
Positions available at the Elementary School level
- Replacement for Guidance Counselors on a leave of absence
- Length of positions may vary
Requirements:
- New Jersey School Counselor Certificate
- Experience working with children, preferred
- Successful clearance of criminal history
- All Substitutes must be BOE approved
Effective: 2026 - 2027 School Year
Salary:
- $357/day (per HTEA Step 1 2026/27 MA Teacher Guide)
Benefits: Leave replacement teachers receive benefits after 5 consecutive months of working (single health benefits)
In addition to the base salary, eligible employees receive a comprehensive benefits package: including medical/vision,
prescription and dental insurance, and paid time off.
