Scope of Practice

This role is designed primarily as an outpatient Internal Medicine practice. Physicians may choose to maintain a broad General Internal Medicine practice or develop focused areas of interest including:

- Cardiology and cardiovascular risk management
- Diabetes and metabolic medicine
- Obesity medicine
- Hypertension management
- Respiratory medicine
- Women's health
- Preventive medicine
- Chronic disease management
- Other outpatient subspecialty interests

The clinic supports physicians in building a practice that reflects their expertise, interests, and long-term professional goals.

Candidate Requirements

- Eligible for independent licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA)
- Royal College certification in Internal Medicine (or eligibility for certification)
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care
- Interest in working within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment
