Glenmore Gymnastics Club is seeking a dedicated and experienced XCEL Program Lead to oversee and grow our XCEL program. This full-time role combines coaching and administrative responsibilities and is ideal for a coach who is passionate about athlete development and ready to take on a leadership position within a positive and growing competitive program.

Position Overview

The XCEL Program Lead is responsible for the planning, coordination, and daily operations of the XCEL program, while also coaching assigned groups. This role works directly with the WAG Team Lead to ensure program quality, athlete progression, and a strong team culture.

Hours : 30-40 hours per week, including training, lesson planning, competitions, camps, and meetings.

Key Responsibilities

Coaching :

- Coach assigned XCEL groups in a safe, structured, and positive environment
- Plan and deliver athlete-specific training programs
- Teach and refine skills across all WAG events (vault, bars, beam, floor)
- Prepare athletes for competitions and attend events as required

Program Leadership & Administration :

- Oversee the development and organization of the XCEL program




- Support athlete progression and long-term development planning
- Assist with scheduling, group placements, and program structure
- Mentor and support coaches within the XCEL program
- Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and leadership
- Contribute to a positive, professional, and team-oriented setting

Qualifications

- NCCP C1 WAG certification (minimum) :

- NCCP C1 Trampoline certification (minimum) :

- Valid First Aid and CPR Certification

- Respect in sport

- Current Police Check

- Previous gymnastics coaching experience required

- Strong understanding of technique, progressions, and safety practices

- Passion for delivering quality, safe gymnastics

- High level of professionalism, reliability, and energy

- Ability to act as a positive and consistent role model
