Duties

- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through prospecting, networking, and market research
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new clients to ensure customer retention and satisfaction
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals effectively using persuasive communication skills
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies that enhance brand visibility and generate leads
- Utilize rental software and additional programs for creating & sending quotes and tracking rentals and contacts.
- Perform general maintenance on site for customers rented equipment such as greasing and topping up fluids
- Troubleshoot any operational issues on site and answer operator questions
- Attend industry and networking events to stay up to date in the industry and establish recent relationships with both customers and suppliers
- Engage in telemarketing efforts to generate new leads and follow up on potential opportunities
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements relevant to sales efforts




- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally

Qualifications

- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or construction industry sales preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with marketing strategies, telemarketing techniques, and business development practices
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and adapt to changing market conditions
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence
- Competently operate heavy equipment with extensive knowledge of heavy equipment and general servicing
- Heavy Duty Mechanic experience would be a huge asset
- Any mechanical history is beneficial

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
