SHOP SERVICES TECHNICIAN

Caribou Electric is currently seeking a Shop Services Technician to join our team. This position tests, rebuilds, and repairs electric motors, generators, controllers, and related electrical equipment used in commercial, industrial, and institutional establishments.

In this role, you will also be responsible to:

- Troubleshoot and diagnose emergency repairs
- Rewind electric motors, including coil winding and insulation
- Balance rotating equipment
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
- Document repairs and maintenance service records

Qualifications and Skills

- Required _
- Journeyperson or Apprentice Electrician, Electric Motor Systems, Millwright, or Heavy Equipment Technician Technician
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience with AC and DC motor repair.




- Knowledge of electrical components and diagnostic programs and procedures.
- Preferred _
- Experience testing, rebuilding, and repair of electric motors and generators
- Qualified oral and written communication skills
