This permanent full-time role requires a certified Journeyman Technician or Red Seal Mechanic. You will work closely with the Service Coordinator and Tractor Mechanics to evaluate inspections and recommend the right remedial actions. Solid time-management skills and experience with safety inspections will enhance your success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trailer fleet • Diagnose issues discovered during inspections • Collaborate with mechanics and service coordinators • Ensure adherence to safety standards and practices • Maintain efficient use of time completing work orders
Requirements: • Certified Journeyman Technician or Red Seal Mechanic • Proven experience in safety inspections required • Ability to obtain CVIP certification • Familiar with computer systems for work orders • Physical capability to handle heavy items (50 lbs)
