We are seeking a temporary (TBD), part time X-ray Technician to work a set schedule of 27 hours per week (Monday, Tuesday and Saturday). Applications will ONLY BE ACCEPTED if you are a registered member in good standing with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists

Overview

Responsibilities

- Perform X-ray examinations on patients.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate X-ray equipment and ensure proper functioning.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of imaging procedures.
- Adhere to safety protocols and radiation protection guidelines to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the imaging department.
- Stay updated on advancements in radiology technology and techniques.

Qualifications





- Registered member in good standing with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists :

- Robust attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

- Previous experience in a clinical setting is advantageous but not mandatory.

Job Type : Part-time

Pay: $32.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 27 per week
