Job Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Facility Supervisor who also supports the business as Forklift Driver to join our warehouse team.



This role supports the Facility Supervisor in day-to-day activities and covers time away from work for both the Facility Supervisor and Forklift Drivers. Safe, accurate, and efficient warehouse operations, including the handling, movement, and tracking of materials using forklift equipment and RF/RFID scanning tools in essential.

Our warehouses operate under strict food-grade certification standards, providing a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate various types of forklift trucks (counterbalance, reach truck, etc.)

- Work efficiently while maintaining a steady and safe handling pace

- Perform duties in refrigerated storage areas (temperatures as low as 0°C)

- Collaborate effectively with Supervisors, co-workers, and customers

- Adhere to all health, safety, and food-grade compliance standards

- As the Assistant Facility Supervisor, responsible for:_

- Monitoring warehouse productivity, quality and safety and reports observations to the FS.

- Assisting the FS in ensuring the effective use and maintenance of All‑Can’s property and equipment. The AFS may be required, from time to time, to perform warehouse inspections.

- In the absence of the FS, and with the support of the Manager of Operations, the AFS:

- Coordinates the warehouse workforce

- Ensures workplace safety compliance and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, particularly those governing BRC standards for safety,



quality, legality and integrity.

- The AFS leads by example to promote a working environment for all employees that is safe, dignified and professional.

Qualifications & Requirements :

- Proficient in the use of various forklift trucks as demonstrated by 4-5 years forklift driving experience. Certificate of training preferred.

- Secondary School Diploma. Post-secondary education in warehousing, logistics and/or business management is advantageous.

- Able to safely lift and handle items up to 22 kgs/50 lbs.

- 3-5 years’ experience in warehousing related activities . :

- Adaptable to flexible hours of work and willing to travel to different warehouse locations as assigned. (Currently Trenton and Belleville)

- 2-3 years’ experience in lead hand or supervisor position ; warehousing and logistics industry preferred.

- Organizational skills to coordinate multiple priorities, delegate activities and deploy resources efficiently. Can set clear goals and responsibilities for RFO on shift.

- Must have the ability to foster team effort and resolve conflicts.

- A valid driver’s license and good driving record is required or reliable and flexible transportation alternative.

- Sufficient computer/technology and administrative skills to complete routine internal forms and reports in the absence of the FS.

- Demonstrated ability to train and mentor co-workers
