Dock & Door Technician - Dartmouth

With branches located in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, we are looking for a Dock and Door Technician in Dartmouth Branch to join our growing Dock and Door Team

Reporting to the Service Supervisor you will be responsible for :

- Dock and Door installation, maintenance, and inspection
- Perform repairs in addition to installation and maintenance dock and door parts
- Service will include mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs as per the equipment
- Diagnosing electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic repairs
- Analyze and diagnose dock levelers, vehicle restraints
- Perform Preventative Maintenance inspections on warehouse facilities
- Install dock equipment including shelters, seals, lights, bollards, vehicle restraints, levelers, high speed doors, and overhead doors





Skill Requirements :

- Good analytical skills to diagnose mechanical problems with mínimal supervision
- Valuable mechanical aptitude with an ability to service a diverse range of equipment
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with co-workers and managers; positive attitude, and good work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to manage multiple jobs at one time
- Ability to complete paperwork for multiple jobs accurately and timely
- Current and suitable driver’s abstract and driver’s license
- Strong welding skills
