Job Title: Assembler

Job Description
As an assembler, you will be responsible for preparing work by reviewing assembly instructions, blueprints, specifications, and parts lists. You will gather the required parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials, and position and align parts using templates, fixtures, drawings, and specified measurements. Your role involves assembling structural components, inspecting connections for proper fit, and fastening parts using hand tools, power tools, sealants, rivet guns, and other approved equipment.

Responsibilities

Review and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, work instructions, and technical specifications. Measure completed components using precision measuring instruments to verify specifications and tolerances. Identify and resolve assembly issues by making adjustments to dimensions and component fit. Perform quality checks throughout the assembly process to ensure compliance with company and customer requirements. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment by following company safety procedures and regulations.

Apply basic mathematics, mechanical knowledge, and technical skills to complete assigned assembly work accurately. Safely operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and other equipment necessary for structural assembly. Maintain productivity and quality standards while completing repetitive assembly tasks. Essential Skills 2-3 years of experience in aerospace structural assembly, FLE assembly, or similar manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, assembly instructions, and specifications.

Experience using hand tools and power tools, including rivet guns. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as verniers and micrometers.



Robust analytical and problem-solving skills. Basic mathematical skills and ability to work with measurements and tolerances. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Why Work Here? Work Environment

Work a day shift from 7:00am to 4:30pm in a structured environment where safety and efficiency are prioritized.

& Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mississauga, ON. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00
- $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
