This part-time role is vital for assisting the Cook in meal preparation and kitchen operations while ensuring timely and safe service. Key responsibilities include kitchen clean-up, food storage compliance, and maintaining organized beverage and dining areas. You’ll engage with KDFN community members, providing courteous service and maintaining a sanitation-focused kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in food preparation and meal service activities
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas




• Support receiving and storing food safely
• Monitor food quality and portion control standards
• Wash dishes and kitchen equipment as needed
Requirements:
• Valid Food Secure Certification required
• WHMIS certification necessary, First Aid/CPR considered assets
• Previous kitchen or catering experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills for guest interaction
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
