Core Technical Requirements
Strong hands‑on experience in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and FOCUS
Experience working in batch processing environments
Hands‑on knowledge of CA‑7 scheduling
Robust understanding of flat files and dataset‑based processing environments
Capability to analyze and interpret legacy/custom‑developed programs, including:
Understanding program logic and workflows
Identifying data flows and dependencies
Supporting maintainability and system documentation
Key Expectations
Ability to independently review and assess existing mainframe codebase
Solid analytical skills to decode and document legacy systems
Prior experience in onsite lead roles, managing and guiding offshore teams




Nice to Have
Exposure to GIT / GitLab
Experience with IDz (IBM Developer for z/OS)
Qualifications 5–8 years of experience in mainframe environments. Deep technical expertise beyond support‑level experience.
Compensation CAD 77,000 to CAD 120,000
