Responsibilities:
* Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to determine machining requirements.
* Program CNC machines (mills, lathes, etc) using CAM software and machine control interfaces.
* Set up machines by installing and aligning tooling, fixtures, and workpieces accurately.
* Operate CNC machines to manufacture components to precise dimensions and tolerances.
* Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
* Verify conformance of parts to specifications and make adjustments as necessary.
* Perform routine maintenance and ensure equipment is kept in safe working condition.
* Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve technical or process issues.
* Optimize machining programs to improve efficiency, quality, and tool life.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and protected work environment in compliance with company standards.
* Support and practice KAIZEN principles and participate in related activities (GEAR).

Requirements:
* One year of equivalent experience and related education or an appropriate blend.
* Mechanically inclined and knowledgeable with technical terms, machine components and definitions.
* Previous experience working with maintenance and tool room departments.
* Knowledgeable in PowerBI, MVP or other CMMS Software.
* Good knowledge of production reporting systems.




* Good technical report writing abilities and communication skills.
* Excellent problem-solving techniques and methods.
* Computer literacy and a sound knowledge in MS-Office applications and Outlook would be an asset, most critically Excel and PowerPoint for data manipulation.
* Ability to successfully interact with all levels of employees in a multicultural environment.
