BackgroundThe Senior BI/Data Analyst works collaboratively with the business and technology teams to gather and document detailed requirements and being responsible for the analysis stages for all the BI projects. The focus is to:

Requirements Gathering and Analysis

Implementation of BI dashboards using Power BI.

Data Analysis for BI solutions

BI Projects support.

Coach and mentor intermediate team members.

Requirements Gathering And Analysis

Work with the business owners, BI developers, BI architect, PMs, and other BAs to break down the designed solutions into detailed business requirements.

Conduct workshops and meetings to gather requirements.

Conduct process mapping.

Document business processes and rules from a user perspective and identify the gaps and be responsible for recommendation of process optimization.

Own capturing the data flow mapping across various business and system processes and interpreting the value offerings and validations.





Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for new projects or enhancements to existing processes. Document current business processes using tools such as flowcharts or diagrams to identify all areas.

Create and maintain documentation related to business requirements, process flows and system configurations.

Own the creation and maintenance of Business Requirements Documents (BRD).

Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to gather requirements, provide updates, and facilitate decision-making processes.

Work closely with business and IT stakeholders. Understands the business requirements, application systems, limitations and constraints, company's policies.

Implementation of BI dashboards using Power BI

Support the implementation of BI dashboards using Power BI.

Build and review simple to medium-complexity Power BI semantic models.

Collaborate with the Analytics and Data teams to build high-complex Power BI semantic models.

Build and review straightforward to medium-complexity Power BI dashboards and reports.

Collaborate with the Analytics and Data teams to build high-complex Power BI dashboards and reports.

Ensure BI dashboards are aligned to business requirements.

Data Analysis for BI solutions

Analyze data in BI solutions (reports, dashboards, etc.) and provide suggestions for KPIs.

Analyze current KPIs and provide insights based on KPI results.

Analyze different databases to know how to retrieve data.

Collaborate with the Data team to support the building of data pipelines.

Be able to analyze data directly in the databases by creating SQL queries.

Present data analysis before creating KPIs in BI solutions.

BI Projects support

Support business case development and presentation for steering meetings.

Contribute to high-level technical solutions discussions.

Support organization change management, training, and related document creation.

Build and review test plans and ensure test strategies.

Ensure test cases align to document business and solution requirements.
