The Head of Enterprise Architecture is responsible for defining, governing, and evolving the enterprise architecture strategy to ensure alignment between business objectives and technology execution. Reporting to the IT Delivery Director, this role provides architectural leadership across cloud, application, data, integration, security, identity, and cost management domains.
This position includes direct people leadership of architects and plays a critical role in enabling scalable, secure, and cost-effective technology delivery through clear architectural standards and governance.
Responsibilities
Here’s how you will contribute to the success of the companyEnterprise Architecture Strategy & GovernanceDefine and maintain the enterprise architecture vision, principles, standards, and target‑state roadmapsEnsure architectural alignment across applications, data, cloud platforms, integration, security, identity, and FinOpsEstablish and lead architecture governance forums and design review processesActively participate in and represent Enterprise Architecture in key governance bodies, including Architecture Committees, the Office of the CTO, and AI Governance forums, to ensure architectural alignment with enterprise strategy and emerging initiativesMaintain current‑state and future‑state architecture documentation and artifactsLeadership & People ManagementLead, mentor, and develop a team of architectsDefine roles, responsibilities, operating models, and career paths for architecture practiceFoster a culture of architectural excellence, pragmatism,



and delivery enablementEnsure architects are effectively embedded within delivery teamsDelivery Enablement & Stakeholder PartnershipPartner closely with the IT Delivery Director, technology leaders, and business stakeholdersSupport delivery teams by providing clear architectural guardrails without becoming a delivery bottleneckAct as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on technology strategy and investment decisionsTransformation & Security InitiativesProvide architectural leadership for major initiatives including cloud modernization, data and analytics platforms, Identity and Access Management (IAM), AI enablement, and M&ADefine; and govern enterprise IAM architecture, including authentication, authorization, identity lifecycle, and Zero Trust alignmentFinOps & Cost OptimizationEmbed FinOps principles into architectural standards and solution designsEnsure cost transparency, optimization, and sustainable cloud and platform consumptionTechnology & Vendor StrategyInfluence technology platform selection and strategic vendor partnershipsEnsure architectural consistency, security, scalability, and cost efficiencyPartner with key business, technology, and security stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and guide decisions on technologies to adopt, standardize, retain, or retire, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy, risk posture, and long‑term sustainabilityQualifications
