DoorWay Technologies

Toronto

DoorWay Technologies is a PropTech startup building the operational infrastructure for modern real estate. We connect landlords, property managers, vendors, and tenants into a single platform that coordinates property maintenance, vendor management, and scheduling—with a core differentiator of sub-10-minute booking time.
We serve landlords, commercial tenants, property managers, municipalities, and enterprise operators across commercial, residential and facility portfolios who demand better oversight in their operations. Our founding team includes people who own and operate commercial real estate, so we’re building from first-hand knowledge of what’s broken—and exactly how to fix it.
We’re a team of ~10, pre-Series A, based in North Bay, Ontario, with enterprise pilots underway and a clear path to market.
About the RoleWe’re hiring an
Implementation & Customer Success Lead
to own the entire post-sale customer journey—from first onboarding call to full portfolio rollout to long-term retention. You’ll be the person who turns early pilots into working deployments and ensures every client sees real operational improvement.
You’ll work directly with real estate operations teams, property managers, commercial tenants. You’ll need to understand both sides of the building—the landlord’s P&L; and the tenant’s day-to-day experience—because DoorWay sits in the middle.
This is a hands‑on, execution‑first role. You’re not managing an existing team—you’re the one doing the work, building the process, and proving what a great implementation looks like so we can scale it. You’ll report directly to the CEO and have a real voice in how the product and go‑to‑market evolve.

Who You AreWe’re looking for someone who has lived inside the operational world DoorWay is digitizing. The ideal candidate has experience on at least one side of this equation—and curiosity about the rest:
Must HaveOperations Background
You’ve managed or supported commercial property operations—coordinating maintenance, managing vendor relationships, handling tenant service requests across a portfolio.
You’ve worked in or alongside property management firms, commercial landlord operations, or facilities management companies.
You understand what it means to keep a building running: the vendor calls, the emergency dispatches, the tenant escalations, the budget reconciliations.
You’ve managed operations from the commercial tenant side—handling facilities coordination, service requests, or vendor management for an office, retail, or industrial occupier.
Mindset & Stage Fit
You’re a clear, direct communicator—with clients, with vendors, with the founding team.
You’re motivated by ownership and impact, not title or headcount.
You’re comfortable being the first dedicated hire in this function and understand what early‑stage means: wearing multiple hats, iterating fast, and shipping before it’s perfect.
Robust Plus

You’ve been involved or implemented operational software in a real estate or property management context (Yardi, AppFolio, Buildium, MRI, or similar)—or you’ve been the internal champion who made the rollout actually work.
You can translate messy real‑world workflows into structured digital processes.
Where Great Candidates Might Come FromWe’re casting a wide net. Any of these backgrounds could be the right fit:
Commercial property manager or operations lead
who’s been responsible for vendor coordination, maintenance scheduling, and tenant satisfaction across a multi‑property portfolio.
Facilities manager (tenant‑side)
who’s coordinated maintenance, service requests, and vendor relationships from inside a commercial occupier’s operations team.
PropTech implementation / customer success manager
from a company like AppFolio, Buildium, Yardi, Lessen, or Jobber who’s onboarded property management clients onto operational software.
Vendor relationship / service delivery specialist
from a property services company who understands both the client and vendor sides of the maintenance marketplace.
Operations lead at a field service SaaS
(Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, Jobber) who’s worked with service professionals and understands scheduling, dispatch, and service delivery workflows.
Real estate operations consultant
who’s helped PM firms or landlords implement technology, redesign workflows, or improve maintenance operations.
CompensationWe believe in transparent compensation aligned with impact:
Competitive base salary, $70,000 - $90,000 based on experience.
Equity participation.
Performance bonus tied to client activation, retention, expansion.
