ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skill and Experience)

- -Current Certificate of Competence as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- -BScN preferred.
- -BCLS certification.
- -Current ACLS
- -Current Certification in Venipuncture, arterial lines, care of the ventilated patient, Delegated Controlled Acts.
- -2 years recent Level 111 critical care experience within the past 3 years.
- -CNA certification in critical care preferred
- -Demonstrated problem solving skills/critical thinking skills.
- -Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- -Knowledge of resource utilization initiatives
- -Current working knowledge of CCIS
- -Successful completion of the cardiac module of a recognized college/university critical care diploma course
