Shape the future of forestry with Weyerhaeuser as an Operations Forester in Kenora, Ontario. Oversee wood supply processes while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. In this individual contributor role, you will join Weyerhaeuser’s Timberlands Team responsible for planning, harvesting, and road construction. Your expertise in operational forestry and leadership will be vital in monitoring contractors, executing the Integrated Fibre Supply Plan, and reinforcing Forest Stewardship standards. You will engage effectively with suppliers while working towards the success of the Kenora Laminated Strand Lumber Mill.

Key Responsibilities
• Monitor safety standards for road building and harvesting operations




• Implement the Integrated Fibre Supply Plan effectively
• Negotiate private wood purchases
• Conduct performance reviews with suppliers monthly
• Reinforce product quality standards in operations

Requirements:
• Forestry degree or relevant education and experience
• Operational forestry skills are desirable
• Solid leadership and communication skills
• Eligible for Ontario RPF status is a plus
