We are a family in Milton seeking a warm, reliable, experienced, and engaging nanny/babysitter to provide occasional evening and weekend care for our 1 year old. Schedule & Availability:
* Approximately 2-3 shifts per month, with a minimum of 4 hours per shift and the potential for longer shifts as needed.
* Shifts will primarily fall on Friday evenings, Saturdays, and/or Sundays (daytime or evening).
* Occasional late-evening shifts may be required, depending on our family’s plans.
* Applicants must have reliable availability during these periods.
* Advance notice and scheduling arrangements can be discussed.
* Seeking an ongoing, casual arrangement with someone interested in building a long-term relationship with our family. Childcare

Responsibilities:
* Engaging in age-appropriate activities and creating a stimulating environment (we prefer minimal to no screen time)
* Preparing, heating, and serving pre-made meals and snacks as needed.
* Diaper changes and general hygiene.
* Completing evening routines, including bath time and bedtime, when applicable.
* Maintaining a secure, clean, and organized environment for our child. Additional Light Household

Responsibilities:
When time permits and childcare needs are met,



we would appreciate assistance with light household tasks, including:
* Tidying the kitchen and dining areas after meals.
* Loading and unloading the dishwasher.
* Tidying and organizing toys and play areas.
* Light vacuuming of commonly used areas.

Requirements:
* Previous experience caring for infants and toddlers.
* Valid CPR and First Aid certification.
* Current Vulnerable Sector Check / police screening.
* Valid driver’s licence and access to reliable transportation.
* Reliable, punctual, patient, and comfortable independently managing toddler routines, including bedtime.
* Receptive to parent feedback
* Strong communication skills (English) and ability to follow established family routines. Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
