We are a warm, busy family of four in North York (two parents and two young children, ages 3 and 6) looking for a reliable, organized and experienced part-time housekeeper/family assistant to help keep our home running smoothly. We are looking for approximately 12–15 hours per week over 3 weekdays, ideally during daytime/school hours. There may be flexibility for the right person.

Key responsibilities
include:
- Family laundry, folding and putting clothes away
- General tidying and household organization
- Keeping the kitchen clean and organized
- Changing bed linens and towels
- Light household cleaning and maintaining the home between our regular deeper cleans
- Organizing children's toys, clothing and common areas
- Grocery organization and occasional household errands
- Meal preparation and family cooking, including preparing straightforward, healthy meals that can be refrigerated or reheated for dinner
- Keeping track of basic household and grocery supplies We already use a cleaning service for periodic deeper cleaning, so we are particularly interested in someone who enjoys the day-to-day upkeep, laundry, organization and cooking involved in running a family home. We have two children, but this is primarily a housekeeping/family-assistant position rather than a nanny role. Occasional help with the children may be requested,



so someone who is warm and comfortable around young children is important. Driving is not required but would be a definite bonus, particularly for occasional errands or helping with the children when needed. Spanish-speaking would also be a wonderful bonus, as we are encouraging our children’s Spanish language development. Our ideal candidate is dependable, proactive, detail-oriented and able to work independently. We would love someone who takes pride in noticing what needs to be done and helping a household stay organized rather than needing a detailed task list each day. Strong English communication and excellent references are important. Previous experience working in a private family home is preferred. We are located in North York, Toronto and are looking for someone interested in a consistent, long-term position.
