Laurentian University invites applications for a Research Intern in AI-Numerical Modelling for Sustainable Mining within the School of Engineering and Computer Science. The role centers on numerical modelling of tire-road interaction under underground mining, using ITASCA/PFC, with AI/ML support up to 20%.

The intern will develop and calibrate models, run simulations, analyze results, and document methods for reports and publications.
