We are a clean, welcoming, very organized and respectful Muslim family looking for a proactive, self-starter helper to join our home 2 days a week (Mondays and Fridays). We are hoping to increase days and hours if we find the right person. As a primary caregiver currently taking care of an ailing parent and young children, I am seeking someone reliable and detail-oriented to handle our daily household duties so I can focus fully on my family’s care. (Note: This position does not involve any medical care for our family members). Key Duties & Responsibilities * General Housekeeping & Deep Cleaning:

- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across main living spaces.
- Tidying up, wiping down surfaces and counters, vacuuming, and mopping floors.
- Thorough cleaning and sanitization of bathrooms.
- Routine dusting of all surfaces, light fixtures, ceiling fans, and vent covers.
- Cabinet & Storage Organization: Periodically organizing kitchen cabinets, closets, pantries, and storage areas as needed.

* Meal Preparation:

- Cooking simple, healthy, and completely nut-free Halal meals.
- Prepping fresh ingredients for family use.
- Laundry: Washing, folding, and neatly putting away clothes and bed linens.
- Linen Care: Changing bed sheets and pillowcases regularly.

Strict Household Requirements
1. Strictly Nut-Free Home (Crucial Safety Requirement): Our children have severe, life-threatening nut allergies.



No outside nuts or products containing nuts/traces of nuts may ever be brought into the home.
2. Halal & Cultural Environment: We maintain a strict Halal home. Absolutely no pork or alcohol is permitted on the premises. Familiarity with or respect for Halal food preparation is required.
3. Cleanliness & Footwear Policy: We prioritize high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. No outside shoes are allowed inside the home under any circumstances.
4. Environment & Conduct: Respectful, gentle, and family-appropriate language must be maintained at all times. Comfort working in a household with an elderly adult present is essential.

Qualifications & Preferences
- Previous experience in housekeeping, household management, or meal preparation.
- Strong organizational skills and a self-starter mindset.
- High attention to detail and standard of hygiene.
- Police background check (Vulnerable Sector Check) and references from previous households preferred.
