You'll report to the Culinary Manager and ensure meal preparation meets the needs of residents, guests, and employees. Key skills include large quantity food preparation, attention to dietary needs, and excellent food handling practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare meals for residents and staff daily
• Review menus and maintain proper food presentation
• Conduct daily temperature audits for food storage
• Adapt meals for special dietary needs
• Participate in planning theme meal days
Requirements:
• Food Handler's Certificate required
• Experience in large quantity food preparation
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets and food regulations
• Ability to lift and transfer heavy items
• Willingness to obtain Vulnerable Sector Check
