Currently, Technica is seeking a self-motivated individual to join our growing team as a Heavy Duty Mechanic in Timmins, ON . This position will assist our maintenance team in their efforts to maintain and progress our long-term, local development project in Sudbury, Ontario. We are actively seeking to fill these positions to support the continued success of our operations.

Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical failures of motorized equipment

Performing daily equipment inspections

Testing repaired equipment for proper performance to ensure work meets manufacturer's specifications

421A Heavy Duty Equipment Technician – Journeyperson Candidate; Licensed 310T Truck and Coach Technician; or Licensed 310S Automotive Service Technician

- Basic Underground Hard Rock Mining Common Core (U0000, U0001, U0002, & U00012) or equivalent provincial designation is preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years' underground experience is preferred
- Strong technical aptitude with digital platforms used for work orders, email, etc.
- Twelve (12) hour shifts
