Base salary range $362,517 - $440,740 plus fee-for-service billing opportunities,paid time off (including vacation and education leave), health and travel insurance perks, sick benefits,



and employer-paid contributions to our pension plan.

The compensation range was recently renegotiated as part of the Physician Services Agreement negotiations. Our ideal candidate will collaborate with other Physicians,Nursingand other Allied medical staff in the following areas:

Community-based Addiction and Mental Health (AMH) team providing consultations and longitudinal care to patients via in-office, virtual and in-home/LTC visits

Close collaboration with our outstanding Medicine colleagues including consultations to in-patient units

After-hours and weekend on-call coverage for adults and children, providing care for inpatients and consultation to the emergency department (paid stipend and fee-for-service billing)

Clinical supervision of medical students and residents

(other related and allied duties may be assigned from time to time as may be necessary to the operation of Horizon Health Network.)

You have a Medical Degree from a recognized medical school and postgraduate studies (residency) in the field of Psychiatry.

You have experience in collaborative multidisciplinary Addiction and Mental Health care.

You have Certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and a valid license through New Brunswick College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick (CPSNB) and become a member of the NB Medical Society.

You practice medicine in a manner compatible with the Health Authority’s mission, values, and strategic directions.

The physician must also meet continuing education requirements, adhere to departmental and health authority policies,comply withrelevant legislation, and follow professional ethical standards set by regulatory bodies.
