Position Summary The CNC Swiss Type Lathe Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating Multi Axis Citizen CNC turning machines to produce high-precision, tight-tolerance components. This role supports efficient production by selecting and setting tooling,



making program and offset adjustments, inspecting parts throughout the machining process, and ensuring all work meets Macfab's quality and safety standards.Day Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am to 3:30 pm & Friday, 6:00 am to 10:00 amCore Responsibilities:Set up and operate Swiss-type CNC lathes to produce precision components.Load, unload, change and modify programs as required.Required Qualifications:5+ years' experience setting up and operating CNC Swiss-type lathes.Certificate, college degree or other training in CNC machining is an asset.Experience with Fanuc and Mitsubishi Swiss-type controls and equipment is a must.Familiarity with Mastercam and Alkart CNC Wizard software preferred.Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Previous aerospace experience preferred.
