Estimator 2 is the junior estimating role within the Commercial Team. This position supports senior estimators by performing basic take‑offs, preparing estimates, maintaining project documentation, and providing responsive customer service. Estimator II focuses on developing technical skills, learning ECCO processes, and supporting the commercial team in delivering accurate and timely project information.

Provide skilled, timely customer service to support repeat business.

Maintain positive working relationships with customers, coworkers, suppliers, and ECCO employees.

Comply with ECCO’s Health & Safety and HR Policies and Procedures.

Participate in annual inventory counts.

Attend training courses to build technical and product knowledge.

Complete basic take‑offs from drawings, blueprints, and sketches for HVAC Mechanical equipment, ductwork, piping, fittings, controls, GRDs and other HVAC materials.

Assemble quantities and pricing with guidance from Estimator I.

Learn ECCO’s estimating software, CRM, and internal systems.

Seek coaching and mentorship from senior estimators.

Project Coordination & Documentation





Maintain project trackers and update project information accurately.

Enter quotations, contractor data, and project details in a timely manner.

Support warranty follow‑ups under direction from senior team members.

Ensure proper filing of commercial project documentation according to SOPs.

Monitor project posting sites and flag opportunities for review.

Customer Service & Sales Support

Act as a professional first point of contact for commercial customers.

Respond to basic inquiries and escalate complex issues to Estimator I or management.

Maintain CRM records for assigned tasks.

1–2 years of experience in HVAC, construction, estimating, or related field preferred.

- Diploma or coursework in Mechanical, HVAC, Business, or related discipline is an asset.
- Proficient in MS Office; ability to learn estimating and CRM software.
- Strong integrity, customer focus, and desire to grow within ECCO.
