Position: Haitian Creole Language Expert

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $40 - $95/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10‑40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

- Translate, review, and edit Haitian Creole content for accuracy and cultural relevance.
- Collaborate with AI teams to train and evaluate language models.
- Provide linguistic expertise on grammar, tone, and regional expressions.
- Ensure high-quality written and verbal communication across deliverables.
- Develop language guidelines, glossaries, and documentation.
- Evaluate AI-generated content and provide structured feedback.
- Stay updated on linguistic trends and language technology advancements.

Requirements

- Native or near‑native proficiency in Haitian Creole with strong communication skills.




- Robust experience in translation, editing, or linguistic analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to provide clear and constructive feedback on language quality.
- Experience working in collaborative and cross‑functional environments.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with digital tools for language editing and AI workflows.
