We are a small and passionate team that uses everyone's talents to develop some of the best radars in the world. We won the Engineering Innovation prizes from OIQ in 2015 and from Engineers Canada in 2017.As a member of the software and system team, you will participate in developing advanced software related to radar signal processing, target detection, tracking, classification, and data exchanges between embedded SW, PC applications and third‑party software.The role will involve several software aspects of radar development such as software requirements, design, coding, validation, and performance assessment. In addition,



you will collaborate closely with system specialists to ensure algorithms ported in the embedded software or PC application meet system requirements.Primary duties and responsibilities include:Write software requirements and define software architectures with respect to system requirementsDesign algorithms and develop C++ code for radar productsTest and integrate software in radar products and applicationsOptimize code (speed, memory use, etc.)Participate in software quality assurance activities such as configuration management, release, and testPosition qualifications:Software developer with 5+ (ideally 10+) years of experienceStrong experience in C/C++ with Microsoft Visual StudioExperience in software configuration management (Git, SVN) and software quality processesExperience with large complex software with real‑time communications and extensive processingGood analytical and problem‑solving skillsWorking knowledge of English and FrenchAssets:Experience in algorithm development, signal processing and/or scientific programmingC/C++ software development with Windows and/or LinuxEmbedded software development with an RTOS and/or LinuxKnowledge of PythonKnowledge of MatlabKnowledge in signal processing (FFT, Filters)Knowledge of XML protocolsKnowledge of TCP/IP socket programmingKnowledge of 3D coordinates transformationsKnowledge of applied linear algebra programmingBasic knowledge of radio‑frequency physics and conceptsBasic knowledge of machine learning and pattern matching conceptsEligible to be certified to examine, possess, and
