This role offers a unique chance for experienced Registered Nurses focused on critical care nursing and patient transport across Northern BC. You will provide real-time clinical support for rural teams while performing inter-facility transfers. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you’ll ensure evidence-based care for critically ill patients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct inter-facility patient transfers with BCEHS paramedics
• Offer mentorship to rural emergency department nurses
• Support intensive care and emergency teams at UHNBC
• Evaluate and implement care across various clinical settings
• Utilize advanced technology to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements:
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current BC College of Nurses and Midwives registration
• Minimum five years of critical care experience
• Certification in key nursing programs (ACLS, TNCC, etc.)
• Valid BC Driver's Licence
