Banyan Software is expanding its Toronto-based legal team to lead high-volume M&A; work across a growing portfolio of software companies. The role offers a path to Portfolio General Counsel, with early focus on due diligence, deal negotiations, and closing mechanics, then broader portfolio leadership. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of M&A; experience at a mid-size or large law firm, robust tech-sector insight, and Ontario licensure (or eligibility). Hybrid work from Toronto HQ is available.
