Leverage Tek is actively seeking System Test Specialists for a 10-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer.Work Location Hybrid/In office in Ottawa onlyKey Tasks Learn the software, systems, and solution relevant to assigned testing activitiesAnalyze project requirements and develop, review, and execute test cases using Azure Dev Ops, test plans, vendor design documents, and project documentationMaintain traceability between requirements, test cases, execution results, and defectsValidate functional, non-functional, system, and performance requirementsIdentify test coverage gaps and missing links between requirements and test proceduresRecord test results and document defects with supporting evidence, logs, screenshots, impact assessments, and reproduction stepsParticipate in test planning, project status meetings, defect triage, and technical discussionsWork with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to investigate defects, validate corrective actions, and perform retestingExecute regression testing following defect corrections and software releasesContribute to test metrics, status reports, and quality reviewsEnsure all deliverables meet project documentation and quality standardsKey Qualifications Minimum 5 years of directly related system testing experience in operational, mission-critical, or real-time user-driven environments such as defence, transportation, simulation, or industrial sectorsHands-on Azure Dev Ops experience in requirements management, test management, defect tracking, and reportingDemonstrated experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT), or equivalent validation and verification activitiesQualifications Experience validating COTS solutions and integrated systems involving third-party suppliersStrong requirements traceability, test coverage analysis,
