About the Role

Our client, a reputable supplier of industrial goods, is seeking a diligent and organized Warehouse Dispatch Clerk to manage outgoing shipments from their facility in Kimberley, Northern Cape . This role is crucial for ensuring that all orders are accurately picked, packed, and dispatched to customers in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong administrative skills, and experience in a warehouse environment. You will be responsible for coordinating with the shipping department, preparing necessary documentation, and verifying outgoing goods against orders. This position is vital for maintaining customer satisfaction and operational efficiency within the Kimberley distribution center.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive, verify, and process outgoing orders accurately against shipping manifests.
- Ensure all outgoing shipments are correctly picked, packed, and labeled according to customer requirements and company standards.
- Prepare shipping documentation, including invoices, packing slips, and bills of lading.
- Coordinate with transport providers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Maintain a clean and organized dispatch area.
- Conduct pre-shipment checks to ensure order accuracy and quality.




- Update dispatch records and inventory systems promptly and accurately.
- Communicate any shipping delays or issues to the relevant departments and customers.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and warehouse protocols.

Requirements

- Previous experience in a warehouse, dispatch, or logistics administrative role is required.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, including MS Office Suite.
- Familiarity with shipping documentation and procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to handle packages and stand for extended periods may be required.
- Experience working in the Northern Cape region is an advantage.
