- Accounting The Lazaridis School of Business & Economics (Lazaridis School) at Wilfrid Laurier University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in the Accounting area, commencing July 1, 2027 . D. in Accounting or related field. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to excellence in research and scholarship through high-quality peer reviewed publications in their areas of expertise. The position is open to all areas of Accounting. Exhibited a capacity for generating scholarly outputs, such as publications, research funding, and engagement in interdisciplinary collaboration, commensurate with the candidate’s level Obtained experience or demonstrated an interest in actively participating in the training and mentorship of both graduate and undergraduate students within their research program A professional accounting designation is considered an asset, with a Canadian CPA preferred The ability to effectively teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels (BBA, Graduate Diploma in Accounting, MBA, and/or PhD) Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a teaching team to ensure consistency across sections in a multi-section course The Lazaridis School of Business & Economics has over 150 full time faculty and more than 6,000 undergraduate and graduate students on campuses in Waterloo, Brantford and Milton, Ontario.
