Custodial Worker - Casual Call-In - Charlottetown Labrador

The Custodial Worker is primarily responsible for performing cleaning and maintenance work of buildings and grounds, ensuring security of buildings as well as providing daily janitorial duties through an established schedule to ensure that the schools are maintained at the highest possible level of cleanliness. This position will be responsible for snow clearing and ice control. Other related duties as assigned. See Job Description for further information.

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Recent experience in a commercial cleaning setting
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, materials, and equipment
- Knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS)
- Physical abilities consistent with requirements of the job
- The ability to work as a team player and independently




- Reliable transportation

CUPE Salary Scale (CG-19): $20.86 - 22.51 per hour, plus shift diff, if applicable.
