Registered Practical Nurse needed for medicine care at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, applying patient assessment and interdisciplinary communication across rotating shifts.

This full time contract runs through November 2027 on the Medicine Team. You will provide patient centred care through treatments, procedures, monitoring, reporting, and documentation. The position also includes activities of daily living support, patient and family education, discharge planning, and community resource knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform treatments, procedures, and comprehensive patient assessments
- Monitor patients and document changes in overall condition
- Report patient information within interdisciplinary care teams
- Assist with activities of daily living




- Provide relevant information and education to patients and families

Requirements:

- College of Nurses of Ontario registration in positive standing
- Registered Practical Nurse diploma or equivalent
- Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation certificate
- At least one year recent hospital medical experience
- Excellent physical assessment and communication skills
